Amiya Nimai Dhara (Bengala occidental, India, 1971). Pintor, escultor y ceramista. Profesor de escultura y asistente de investigación, Departamento de Pintura (Mural), Kala bhavana, Visva-Bharat, Santiniketan. Licenciado y Master Bellas Artes (Escultura). Ha exhibido su obra en Kolkata, Pondicherry, Mumbai, New Delhi (India) y Nepal/Bhutan, Cairo (Egipto), Taipei (Taiwan), Dhaka (Bangladesh), Roma (Italia), así como en exposiciones virtuales de Portugal y Nepal y en eventos como la 18ª Bienal de Arte Asiático de Bangladesh y la V Bienal Internacional del Desnudo Marko Gregovic (Montenegro). Ha sido merecedor de diversas becas, residencias artísticas y distinciones, entre las que se destaca su estancia en Universidad Nacional de Ciencia y Tecnología de Yunlin (Taiwan) y participó en talleres de pintura, escultura, aguafuerte y artesanía.

He has been awarded various scholarships, artist residencies and distinctions, among which stands out his stay at the Yunlin National University of Science and Technology (Taiwan) and he participated in painting, sculpture, etching and crafts workshops.
