Painter and professor residing in Havana. He graduated in Painting and Drawing from the “Carlos Enríquez” Academy of Plastic Arts (Manzanillo) and the Higher Institute of Art (Havana). He has served as a professor at the Carlos Enríquez and Roberto Diago professional academies (Matanzas) and at the University of the Arts (Ha-vana). He currently works as Vice Dean of Extension and Cultural Development at the University of the Arts. His work has been exhibited in solo and group shows and salons in Manzanillo and Havana (Cuba), Oregon (United States), and Beijing (China). His work has also been published in books, catalogs, and the magazines Arte Cuba-no, Cúpulas, and CdeCuba. His pieces are found in public and private collections in Cuba, Cyprus, Mexico, Spain, the United Kingdom, and the United States of America.
