Pradeep Airwhar

Nature has a profound influence on me and every time I meet with myself, I am with my own self. My canvas contains the language of acrylic and pastel with which I speak, conveying my thoughts and emotions. The depth of my paintings, with their sober and textured use of colour, lies in this emotionality rather than in the physicality of the visuals. Beauty may indeed be superficial, but the meaning lies elsewhere, more rooted in the heart and mind. When the viewer connects with the painting, he also joins in this conversation and shares its joy.

Pradeep Khrisna Ahirwar (Bhopal, M.P., India, 1972).
Bachelor of Arts (Drawing and Painting) from Hamidia College (Bhopal) and holds an Intermediate Diploma in Drawing (Government of Maharashtra). His work has been exhibited in solo and group shows, biennials, fairs and festivals in Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Bhopal, Chennai, Coimbatore, Delhi, Dehradun, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Jodhpur, Kerala, Kolkata, Mumbai, New Delhi and Vadodara (India), as well as in Dhaka (Bangladesh), Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia), California, and New York (USA). He participated in the Adiyaman Perre International Art Workshop (Turkey) and in various painting camps for artists (2007 to 2021). His works are in private and public collections in Bangladesh, USA, France, India, Malaysia, UK, UK, and Turkey.
