...at that moment I simply drew the model in front of me and that's how I saw it and enjoyed drawing it. Poetry attributes meanings to colours. I unconsciously use colours and threads. Red and yellow are happy and lively colours that symbolize pleasure and life. The reproduction of the earth is represented in brown, yet black lines yield shape and movement to reach the climax. Everything harmonizes together.

Painter, illustrator, and writer. She studied at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Oporto and attended courses at the Cerveira Art Biennial Foundation. She has participated in personal, collective, and virtual exhibitions – where she has received several awards – in Águeda, Paredes, Penafiel, Porto, Póvoa de Lanhoso, Régua, Vila Nova de Foz Côa, and Vila Nova de Gaia (Portugal), in Basel and Zurich (Switzerland). She has illustrated books and texts by the authors Reys Moreira, Beatriz Meirelles, Victor Hugo Moreira, Maria José Alves Pereira da Silva, Túlio Henrique Pereira, Júlio AB Fernandes, among others. Her work has been published in magazines in Brazil, Canada, and Portugal. A.fe has also carried out cultural volunteering activities.
