Kareem Eskandari

Each of my works questions the substantiality of our symbolic identity, seeking to extract new perspectives that remained hidden in its cracks. I’m interested in undermining the illusion of reality and language where they draw limits, barriers, boundaries to the human, imposing ultimate truths.

K. Eskandari studied painting with Kazem Ajdari and Mohammad Ali Parvaz, and later at Avini Conservatory (Shiraz) and Shahed University (Tehran). He obtained a Master's degree in Painting from Tarbiat Modares University (Tehran). He has worked in the painting department at Neyshabur University and in the graphics department at Neyshabur University of Applied Sciences and Technology. He has participated in group exhibitions in Shiraz, Mashhad, Neyshabur, Tehran (Iran), and Bages (France). He has held solo exhibitions at the Kamal Al-Molk and Atieh galleries (Neyshabur), and at Shahed, Mirmiran, Atbin, and Negar (Tehran). He has been involved in aesthetic and historical research activities and has served as juror at several artistic events.
