Miguel Reyes Escalona

"In these works, where converge images with distinctive clown characteristics and representational objects such as balls or others, I seek to present a sociopolitical critique, using symbolic elements and encrypted codes to stimulate the viewer's reflection."

He lives and works in Havana. He graduated in Engraving and Drawing at the Professional Academy of Plastic Arts (Manzanillo). In his young career he has had several personal exhibitions, participated in group exhibitions and salons, and international art fairs in Manzanillo (Cuba), Marbella and Monzón (Spain), Oporto (Portugal) and in Rome (Italy). He is a member of the visual project Guajiros (Havana). His works are in private collections in Austria, France, Germany, Kuwait, Portugal, Senegal, Spain, United Arab Emirates, and the United States of America.
